This wine from Mendoza is like a "Great Layer Cake" fruit, mocha and chocolate with hints of spice. Very rich very rich!!!

For $17, this is a great wine. Recommend holding (despite the screw cap, malbecs typically need a couple years in the bottle to flush out the tannnis and come together). This wine is no exception, after 2 hours of decanting it was hard to believe this wasn't a $30 bottle. Great effort, but will improve with some time. Lot of fruit, in your face coco, dark black berries, spice and green vegetable..but it's terrific.
